From Brits, take the R512 until the turnoff to Lethlabile. Turn and follow the road, turning again at the next Letlhabile sign. Continue until you get to Jericho.

Jericho is a small town situated in the extreme north-east of the province. Jericho is the gateway to another North West wild life experience – Borakalalo National Park, the “place where people relax”.

Borakalalo consists of 15 000 ha of woodland and open Bushveld along the Moretele River which runs through the park. It is a beautiful stretch of riverine forest, leading to the Klipvoor Dam.

The park has been restocked with many of the animals that historically were found there, including elephant, white rhino, buffalo, hippo, crocodile and giraffe. An abundance of antelope species may also be seen. Predators include leopard, jackal and aardwolf.

Close by is a developing Ndebele village painted in colourful traditional designs. A large variety of traditional beadwork can be bought here.
